Last night Andrew Bird and St. Vincent played at the Blue Note .

Bird played to a crowded theater of excited fans. The most notable aspect of his performance was Bird’s range of talents. He sings, plays guitar and violin and even whistles. His impressive performance was not lost on the audience, who happily cheered on for an impressive encore performance by Bird and his band

St. Vincent

St. Vincent just released her latest album, Actor, this past May.
St. Vincent will soon be gaining an even larger fanbase, Twilight fans. The performer has collaborated on a track with Bon Iver for the soundtrack for  New Moon. She joins other performers, Death Cab for Cutie, OK GO, Muse, The Killers and Thom Yorke, who all wrote original songs for the CD due out October 20.

Also on that list is Grizzly Bear, who will be performing tonight at the Blue Note. Now hipsters and tweens have a reason to come together.
