During the Olympics, the Speedskating team earns the U.S. more medals than any other winter sport. Without them, the United States’ medal count would suffer drastically.

That weekend, the U.S. team competed with brand new logos on their uniforms.

On Monday, Nov. 9, six days after announcing the sponsorship, Colbert announced the current total, $200,200.

The team will be competing in Marquette, Michigan from Nov. 12 to 15 and are still in need of donations. A schedule of their season can be found on their website.
